First Community Baby Shower at MD Kids Pediatrics- Saner

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends a pediatric prenatal visit before delivery to help children reach their healthiest potential, starting from Day 1. On Saturday, October 19, 2019- MD Kids Pediatrics located at 3201 W. Saner Ave. in Dallas, TX hosted its first baby shower with pediatrician Dr. Manuel Muniz and his team. A total of 20 expecting mothers were invited to take part in the fun, information-filled hour.
Dr. Muniz and his team offered a tour of the clinic to families and professional newborn and infant care advice. Topics discussed included growth and development, the importance of well-child care visits, avoiding unnecessary emergency room visits and immunizing on time!
Our goal is to equip expecting moms and their families with valuable health information that will lead to positive health outcomes. We want kids to have a healthy start!
Extensive resources and information from key organizations were shared and included presentations from WIC (Women, Infants, and Children), WINGS Dallas, Kids Care Home Health, Child Care Group, Family Care Connection, and RSQ Medical Equipment. These non- profit organizations offer support to expecting moms during pregnancy and empower them as parents. Participants left with a FREE Munchkin baby gift basket and won various prizes, including an electric breast pump, diapers, and bags filled with baby essentials from our partners.
MD Kids Pediatrics offers accessible health care services. Accessibility means convenience for parents. Our Saner practice offers early morning and evening appointments, an on-site laboratory, and same-day, walk-in appointments are always welcome!
